Good game
Monte Carlo's Brazilian powerhouse Rafael Medeiros scored 2 fantastic goals to pave the way to his team's hard fought but totally deserved win over Champions Ka I, in the top of the table match that saw facing-off on round 8 the 2 teams that had so far won all their 7 games in the 2013 campaign. Medeiros opened the score on 19 minutes (his 6th goal of the season), only for Ka I to equalize on 33' from the penalty spot: Macau's National Team Striker Nicholas Torrão stamping his 17th goal! of the 2013 Elite League. Monte Carlo were on the upper hand again when Rafael Medeiros fired a missile from outside the area on 42 minutes, and the teams went for the break Monte Carlo leading by 2 - 1.
As it had happened a week ago against Lam Pak, Ka I managed to make one more comeback and the score was leveled on minute 67, a goal by Nigerian Striker Chris Nwaorou. But it took Monte Carlo only 4 minutes to strike the fatal blow: aptly scored by local boy Paulo Cheang in a day Monte Carlo fielded 8 local players in their starting 11 and Ka I had four home grown players on their starting line up.
